Introducción

La prehabilitación constituye una estrategia multidisciplinaria destinada a mejorar la preparación fisiológica y psicológica antes de la cirugía. En el ámbito de la medicina del dolor, la prehabilitación ofrece la oportunidad de abordar los factores de riesgo modificables relacionados con el dolor y la función antes de procedimientos mayores.¹
