Si bien los antiinflamatorios no esteroides (AINE) suelen ser de uso frecuente, pueden llegar a causar síntomas en el tracto digestivo superior, úlcera péptica y enteropatía del intestino delgado.1, 2

Debido al aumento de la esperanza de vida de la población mundial y al correspondiente aumento en los trastornos reumatológicos, el uso de los AINE ha aumentado considerablemente en las últimas décadas.2
